Knit to be square: meet Copenhagen’s fashion grannies

I wrote a piece for the Guardian’s fashion pages about the Kaffeslabberas collective, a group of ladies in their 80s who are producing knitwear for some of Denmark’s most celebrated designers.

I spent an afternoon with the ladies – eating cakes, drinking coffee and discussing life and knitting patterns – and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it.

The Nordic Food Lab is the brilliant exploratory science/gastro laboratory set up by some of the guys behind the noma restaurant. In this video I did for the Guardian we get a tour of the house boat where culinary magic happens and go on a foraging mission around the fjords near Copenhagen. Click here to view the video.
